This is just a beautiful little boutique hotel very near the Acropolis, but on a quieter side street. You are greeted by the host/hostess and given a thoughtful and informative guideline of the hotel amenities and how to get around. You can get some laundry done here! That was great because we were on the 2nd week of our vacation, and we needed that done. The rooms are really lovely and the beds are very comfortable. We had a balcony room so I was able to use their wifi to log in to work while still enjoying the atmosphere of the city streets. The breakfast buffet is different every day and offers sweet, savory, hot and cold dishes, as well as a variety of fruits and drinks. The staff that keeps the buffet filled and the dining room clean are friendly and efficient. I just wanted to give a special shout out to Jannis, Aphrodite and her sister, and Reah (I probably messed that spelling up!). All went out of their way to assist us.

Perfect location, great hospitality, very confortable beds, clean room, clean bathroom, breakfast with many options, local ones as well. I recommend this hotel, we stayed 3 nights with my son. Great hospitality they made us feel at home, they went beyond our expectations. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Many thanks for your kindness, we will be back for sure

We rented a car at the Athens Airport and drove to Sweet Home Hotel as a starting point for our road trip around the Peloponnese. As promised, there was a private car park opposite the hotel, which was just the first of how well cared for we were at Sweet Home. From our warm welcome to our lovely room with coffered ceilings and wood floors, we loved everything about this hotel. We stayed two nights in Room 104, a deluxe double room. The price was very reasonable and included the best breakfast we had in our trip to Greece. Our breakfast hosts were so delightful. (And the yellow homemade cake was so delicious, I wish we had the recipe! No one made it better no matter how many others we tasted. We explored Plaka, Syntagma Square, the Acropolis and all places in between and could not have been better situated or more pleased with our choice. Stay here. When we come back, we will.

We had room 203 . small double. yes its small but it has every thing you need .closet space. safe. fridge. en suit. TV (only BBCnews ). telephone. Tea/coffee facility. good selection for breakfast. friendly helpful staff. good price this was off season winter. and perfect location. thank you for a great weekend.

This was not our first choice hotel (based on web searching etc) but as the first hotel was booked, we chose Sweet Home Hotel instead. We are so happy we did as we could not have had a better stay. It really was a home from home and, without exception, the staff went above and beyond to help us in every possible way. Each and every person should be very proud of the customer care they delivered along with Afroditi who made sure we even had a packed breakfast because we had to get a very early flight and had to check out before breakfast started. When we come back to Athens again we will stay again.
